Sulawesi.com is a travel guide and a directory for Sulawesi, Indonesia, in English and Bahasa Indonesia. It covers where to go, when to go, how to get around and where to stay. It lists places to stay, dive centres, tour operators, boats, drivers and guides, each with its own page and its own contacts.

How the guides are dated
The Sulawesi.com editors publish the travel guides. Every guide shows the day it was published and the day its words last changed.
When a fact is wrong or out of date, tell us with the Report a bug or idea form, linked at the bottom of every page. We correct the guide, and its date changes.
Where the data comes from
Most places to stay and businesses come from open data: the places of the Overture Maps Foundation, with data from Meta, Microsoft and AllThePlaces (see the legal notice). A business can claim its page and change it. The Verified badge means our team checked the owner's ID and the business licence (NIB). How claims work.
The weather page uses public sources only: BMKG, MET Norway, NASA, NOAA, CHIRPS and Copernicus. The page names each source next to its figures.
How the site is paid
Sulawesi.com sells no rooms, tours or tickets today, and takes no booking or payment. A business's page is free. A traveller contacts the business directly, or checks prices on a booking site. The business terms say what bookings will cost a business when they open.
The assistant
The Ask AI button opens an assistant that answers from the pages of Sulawesi.com and links the pages it used. Its answers can be wrong: check prices, times and rules with the business or the official source before you go.
